Job Summary:
Vascular Sonographer position available in Bangor, Maine. This outpatient imaging center offers a dynamic environment where Vascular Sonographers will perform diagnostic ultrasound exams related to vascular conditions. The role involves working in a busy setting with potential rotations between the main campus and outpatient facility, supporting a team that provides high-quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Location: Bangor, Maine
- Start Date: 08/18/2026
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or equivalent, valid licensure, BLS certification, at least 2 years of recent experience in vascular ultrasound, and adult patient care experience. Pediatric experience is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Ability to float between multiple locations and flexibility to adapt to different clinical settings.
- Support on the Unit: Support from lead technicians and physicians is available.
- Technology/Equipment: Use of Electronic Medical Record system (Cerner) and vascular ultrasound equipment.
- Orientation: Provided prior to shift start and discussed during the interview process.
- Scheduling: Specifics discussed during manager interview; weekends every other, call rotation required.
- Other Notes: Scrub color should be solid and professional or as provided by the facility. Parking is free.
- Additional Information: The role involves support for outpatient imaging services, with potential rotation between different facilities within the organization. The position requires adherence to clinical protocols and collaboration with healthcare team members.
