Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Tech - General to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform STAT and ASAP ultrasound orders mainly focusing on ER and OB triage cases.
- Execute portable and departmental ultrasound exams as required.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting system.
- Assist interdisciplinary teams in providing comprehensive patient care.
- Operate GE and Siemens ultrasound equipment efficiently.
- Provide ongoing support and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Qualifications
- 2 years of ultrasound experience required; community hospital or trauma setting preferred.
- Certification in ARDMS OB/GYN or ARDMS AB required, along with BLS certification.
- Skilled in conducting first, second, and third trimester, abdominal, and emergency OB ultrasounds.
- Familiarity with GE and Siemens equipment is advantageous.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is essential.
- High proficiency in technical and interpersonal skills in a collaborative healthcare setting.
