Job Summary:
The Ultrasonographer Echo (Cardiac Echo Sonographer) position is located in Tupelo, Mississippi. This role involves performing echocardiography procedures across adult and pediatric populations, including neonatal patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers a comprehensive schedule, with 8-hour days on a rotating basis, including weekends and on-call coverage.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Mon-Sun; 8 hour days with rotating weekend coverage, 40 hours a week, plus rotating on-call for weeknights (1630-0700), and weekends (Sat 24 hours, Sun 24 hours from 0700 to 0700).
- Required Qualifications: Valid ARSMS-RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography) and RCS (Cci Cardiovascular Credentialing International), BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred; must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in adult and pediatric echocardiography. Candidates should possess a valid license on file at the time of submission.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IV start, Bubble Studies & Contrast, TEE probe manipulation, intra-operative structural heart procedures, transthoracic pediatric echo, adult TEE/TTE, and proficiency in EMR systems such as Epic and Charge Healthcare Cardiology.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The role involves conducting educational and in-service training, ensuring proper documentation, maintaining inventory, and participating in performance improvement activities. Candidates must have the relevant credentials on file at the time of submission.
