Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General in Louisville, Colorado. This position involves performing ultrasound procedures, including OB/GYN and anatomy scans, adhering to physicians specifications to ensure quality imaging results. The sonographer will be responsible for patient transfer, equipment operation, image acquisition, and accurate documentation to support diagnostic interpretation.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; 1-hour lunch break; minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associates degree; ARDMS (OB/GYN) certification; BLS (American Heart Association) certification; 2 years of experience performing ultrasound procedures, including anatomy scans and OB/GYN scans; EPIC experience preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Additional Information: Responsible for operating ultrasound equipment, educating and positioning patients, coordinating exams for timeliness and quality, submitting images and clinical information to radiologists, evaluating image quality, and maintaining sterile techniques. Strong organizational skills, effective communication, and proficiency with computer applications are necessary.
