Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General located in Missouri. This is a travel position providing diagnostic ultrasound services in various clinical settings. The role involves performing abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, and transvaginal sonograms, as well as small part scans and ultrasound-guided procedures under departmental protocols. The shift is scheduled for days on weekends, with call required during Saturday and Sunday nights. The assignment is ideal for candidates with a flexible skill set and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Weekends only, Days, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week minimum.
- Required Qualifications: Valid ultrasound technology certification, current ARRT certification for Ultrasound vascular registry, BLS certification, vascular registry (RVT), general ultrasound studies experience, ability to demonstrate competency in sonographic procedures including abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, transvaginal, and small parts scans, with echo experience preferred. Graduate of an accredited AMA school, registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
- Additional Information: The position may require floating to outpatient imaging centers. Scrub color is not designated, and electronic medical records are managed using Cerner. 48-hour weekly guarantees are not approved, and blocked scheduling is not permitted. The role involves working across multiple ultrasound units and may include ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage procedures, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations. The start date is 07/27/2026, with a contract duration of 13 weeks.
