Job Summary:

The Ultrasound Technologist performs or assists in ultrasound examinations, provides technical assistance to the Radiologist, and maintains and cares for all ultrasound equipment. Responsibilities include preparing and examining patients for ultrasound procedures, operating and maintaining equipment, ensuring safety precautions, managing supplies, mentoring new personnel, capturing and transferring images, scheduling examinations, and performing other related duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• 2+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of office and administrative practices.
• Skill in using personal computers and software.
• Ability to problem-solve and make decisions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion.
• Education: Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology OR High School/G.E.D. with successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography technical training program.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
• BLS certification.
