Shift:8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of travel experience is required.
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.
• High School completion required.
Requirements:
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local&travel allowed. Candidates living<50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Mount Sinai.

Additional Details:
Required Credentials: Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology. OR High School/G.E.D. AND successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography technical training program.
Special Requests: PAPR use is not guaranteed across all departments and must be flagged at submission. All applicants must be willing to shave to pass the mandatory N95 fit test to avoid a rescinded offer.
Unit Details: Breast imaging / Diagnostic Imaging. Performs or assists in ultrasound examinations, renders technical assistance to the radiologist, and maintains and cares for ultrasound equipment. Prepares and examines patients in accordance with established departmental procedures and techniques. Operates and adjusts ultrasound equipment, takes safety precautions necessary to protect patients and personnel from electric shock or other hazards, and sets up, cleans, and makes minor adjustments to ultrasound equipment. Ensures adequate supplies are available for use. Assists in orienting and mentoring new ultrasound personnel. Captures images onto PACS and transfers them to physicians' work stations. Answers telephones, schedules examinations, and may initiate transportation.
Shift&Scheduling: Mon-Fri. No on-call.
5 days maximum time off
