Collaborating with a clinic in northeastern North Carolina with an opportunity for an OB/GYN to provide locum coverage.

Opportunity Overview:

• Clinic & call coverage
• Schedule: 3x 24-hour call shifts or 5x 8-hour clinic coverage
• Setting: Outpatient
• Daily Volume: 20 patients
• Duties: Deliveries, c-sections, and gyn (circumsisions preferred, not required)
• Will have a sonographer and ultrasound capabilities in the office
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, paddle scenic waterways surrounded by cypress trees, catch live performances at a historic theater, and explore local history at a regional museum.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered OB/GYN North Carolina state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as an OB/GYN
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
